In late May and early June the glossy leaves, divided into three leaflets, are topped by small, white, five-petalled flowers. Like all Potentillas, this is a member of the rose family, but unlike so many members of that family it is generally trouble-free. In autumn the foliage turns deep burgundy, and sometimes bright red, and remains throughout the winter. |
